Welcome to the Friends of Freeman Library

The Friends of Freeman Library is a nonprofit organization that supports the Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library. 

All funds raised by the Friends - through donations, memberships, bookstore sales, and more - help fund special programs, events, services and collections at our Library.

Shop at our Bookstore!

Located immediately inside and to the right of the main entrance to the library. Everything in the bookstore is $3 or less, many $1 or less. We offer a wide selection of books in every genre and a special selection of recent releases. The Bookstore also offers a great selection of audiobooks, CDs, DVDs and vinyl records.

The stock is constantly changing, so drop by frequently to see what is new.

Donate your books! 

We welcome gently used books, audiobooks, DVDs, CDs, & LPs.  We do not accept encyclopedias, magazines, or computer books that are more than 5 years old.
